The challenges facing our schools and our students have never been greater than they are today. Advancements in technologies and in societies around the world proceed at an ever increasing pace. This in turn adds to the need for innovation in our educational system to help our students be prepared for the unknowns that lie ahead. The Clifton Education Foundation strives to help the students of Clifton ISD prepare to meet these new challenges.
State and federal budgets will face significant challenges over the next decade and beyond. Demographic characteristics of the state and specifically to rural areas such as ours will add to those challenges. Undoubtedly, this will present added difficulties to the task of giving our children the first rate educational opportunities, which is our desire.
Our goal is to increase the availability of scholarship monies to the college-bound student as a way of increasing opportunities and setting high goals. A future objective is to provide grants for educators for the purpose of supporting opportunities beyond that already provided routinely through the school system.
Since the inception of the Foundation in 1999 we have provided $273,000 in scholarships and grants.
The Clifton Education Foundation is organized under the Texas Nonprofit Corporation Act and is recognized as a charitable organization by the IRS under its 501c3 designation, making all donations tax deductible.
100% of your donations goes directly toward scholarships or grants as all work for the Foundation is done on a voluntary basis.
The Foundation works closely with Clifton ISD; however, the Foundation is separate and has an independent governing board.

The Clifton Education Foundation was founded in 1999 with the specific goal of promoting educational opportunities for the children and students of CISD in Clifton, Texas.
The Foundation depends solely on donations.
